There have been a number of posts in recent weeks that have questioned our commitment to supporting this community. Whilst we have tried to address these issues openly on the forum, this has unfortunately not been to everyone’s satisfaction. It has been difficult to read some of these posts because we do not believe they reflect our values as an organisation or the work we have done over the years to support this community. If anyone is in any doubt about the work of The Lucy Faithfull Foundation and our commitment to providing services for the partners, ex-partners, family members and friends of individuals who have committed online sexual offences, then please contact us directly as we would be happy to have a more personal and constructive conversation with you.
Whilst we encourage people to be open with their views, we must be clear that we will not tolerate any posts which detract from the purpose of this forum, and which could contribute towards the creation of a critical and negative environment. We will delete any posts that we do not think are in keeping with the forum agreement, and we will not hesitate to remove any forum users who are unable to adhere to this. This is a safe space for all forum users, regardless of their individual decisions and journeys, and we will do what we can to ensure it stays that way. We hope you are understanding and supportive of this.
As always, we want to thank you for the amazing support and advice you provide one another, especially that given to new forum users who are perhaps in the very early stages of their journey.
