The longest day waiting for sentencing

After the most hideous wait (court time was 3.30) have finally heard it is a suspended sentence. The relief that is it not prison is massive. All day I have been worrying that I would have to tell my son he won't see his dad for months. Now just hope it doesn't come out in the media. Still have a divorce and house move to manage but today felt like a major milestone. Hoping I sleep a little better tonight. Can't remember the last time I slept properly. Thank you for your kind messages the other day x

Omg you must be so relieved. I'm so glad it wasn't custodial for you. My partners sentencing is on Monday, I'm a mess, all I'm thinking is it will be the worst case scenario, a custodial. I hope you manage to relax tonight and you can now rebuild your future without this horrible anxiety that hangs over us all!
