Good Evening Lovlies x

I hope you are all doing ok

What a week weather wise, it is currently peeing it down , but I have the heating on, the candles lit so as the saying goes as snug as a bug!

We have a visit tomorrow with my son so a good feast for him in the morning, he is doing ok, lots of change in the money bag :-)

I know this week has been a struggle for many of you especially those effected by the dreadful media, Flo my heart goes out to you but you will find the strength to get through it, my sons case like others was fabricated so much but I really gave up worrying about what was said as hard as it is, it will soon be old news, or tomorrows chip paper, x we have no control over this unfortunately,

I cannot believe we are in November and the amount of xmas ads are insane, saying that I have almost finished my present shopping x

What ever the weekend has in store for you I hope it brings some happiness to you all

Love sent as always xx

Hello friday check in

You must post Upset Mumwhat the hungry caterpillar manages tomorrow and hope you have a good visit.

My week has not been too bad. Nothing major has happened. And my furbabys keep me busy. I have not managed to reduce my workload but I have managed a whole week without being in despair so taking that as a positive.
The only downside was when reading a forum on divorce and realised how few options i actually do have.

hope eveyone has had a good week. X

Hi upset mum,

My favorite family member, the lovely dog wasn't so lucky this week, she had a cut on her chest during a routine grooming, and I was furious that I took my dog and paid for her to be butchered! Now she is walking around in a tshirt to prevent licking the wound. Poor thing. I'm going to treat her to a new tennis ball this weekend!

Hello Friday check in

Still on half term and off work, but had a busy week. We adopted 2 guinea pigs to keep our existing one company. She's much happier now she's not alone. My 15 year old daughter has been rehearsing for one of the plays she is doing which they are performing next week. They are doing troulis and Cressida - my daughter has been practicing at home and she is doing well even though it's difficult to get round the Shakespearean lingo.

Yesterday I did something for myself for a change. I went to Birmingham NEC to a craft show with my knitting and crochet group and had a fun time.

I've had an uneventful and quiet week this week which has been very welcome. My son continues to take small steps forward and that feeling of waiting for the next bad thing to happen is gradually reducing. He has applied for lots of jobs but unfortunately hasn't yet managed to find anyone willing to take him on with his conviction. We are staying positive though and hope that it is only a matter of time until someone gives him a chance.

Upset mum - I hope you enjoy the time with your son tomorrow and to all of you wonderful people I send you my best wishes for the weekend.

I deleted my earlier post - too depressing- just felt reflective at the time, my sons final court case is about the only date that sticks on my mind these days. Three years - where did that go?

had a good week, with time off work. Weather not too bad in our area so able to get out and about.

my son was chirpy when I spoke to him yesterday and as gardening winds down he's heard classes are starting up to cover the quieter winter months. Anything that keeps him occupied is good.

Hope your visit goes well Upset and look forward to your feedback - literally.

I have felt really sad with stories coming up on the forum this week and like to send you all a hug and say we are with you and you are not alone.

bless you x

We had a lovely visit , not many visitors there at all so no fear of running out of food lol

My Hungry catappiler looks really well, and was in great spirits, my daughter has the knack of just bringing out the best in him it makes my heart want to burst to see him smile and here him laugh x

He started the visit off with 4 slices of toast still no crumpets

Followed by a ham sandwich

A pack of 3 chocolate bourbon biscuits

A really gooey chocolate muffin

3 jammy doger biscuits

A bag of peanut m&ms

A bottle of Oasis

A pot of chocolate icecream

Another ham sandwich with a bag of crisps

And last but not least a aero chocolate bar

I had 4 hot drinks and 2 slices of toast lol xx

I love what your son eats it makes me giggle. In fact I feel quite full now after reading. LOL.

Dawn I was at the NEC as well just walking through. Didn't do the craft fair, but to think we could have walk passed each other. X

Sending virtual hugs to all.

Upset thanks for the update on the hungry caterpillar it always makes me smile and it must be so good for you to hear him laugh.

Today I went to a ceramics workshop to make a Christmas wreath and it was so lovely and relaxing just what I needed.

Some of the posts on here have been so sad this week and I feel so sorry for those at the start of this horrible journey.

Love and hugs to everyone on here xx

Hi all

I've had a few days away with my daughter and granddaughter. Was a lovely change of scenery but not so restful with a lively baby in tow but had a nice time. I'm moved into my new little place. Slowly moving some of my things out of the house which made me a tad emotional but feel lucky ( if you can say that) that I've got somewhere and my OH can stay in the house.

Xx

So pleased you had a lovely break as you mentioned it keeps you busy with little ones but still lovely to be away x

Of course moving will be so hard as all your good memories of before this journey are there but once you settle and have everything there it will all fall in to place xx
