O/H Brother visits after 2 years.

First of all big ((hugs)) to one and all.
So my other half was given a suspended sentence and a 2 year community order and since the knock my O/H brother and his family have cut all ties with us. We moved away and he said doesn't wanna know us anymore.
So a few messages between him and my O/H have happened and today he is here visiting.

We have yet to face this dilemma as it's all happened in a month the,knock,the hearing and the sentence which is three years.We are just taking time to breathe already his OH has filed for divorce so it's the beginning of the end but as a family just don't know . Unfortunately have no crystal ball nevertheless it's awful ????

As hard as it is at least he can open up and talk about it, and hopefully his brother will listen and understand it's not all black & white how they ended up here , a huge step in my eyes and a positive one at that xx

Well they had a good chat and a brew and my O/H told him everything and I mean everything so left nothing in the cupboard as they say. He said needs to process everything but he will be in touch. So that's a positive.
Me is doing ok just being here that's the main things.

I think my brother in law wants to go home and digest everything and just see where it goes. Yes took all the questions in and now we shall just see but like I said just taking one day at a time and see where it goes.

Glad it seemed to go ok with your brother in law. Heres hoping that things will improve for you all.
I have one friend left that I need to tell. Have not seen them since the knock. When i saw them recently i could not do it and we did not have much time. But planning on seeing her again soon so will try and pluck up the courage.
