Having read a previous post about supporting people. I wanted to show where I have found help. My OH is in prison and ladt month I went to the Prisons Family Forum. I met another lady and just having another person in the same boat to talk to was amazing. We are meeting for lunch and can be open with each other.
Thought this may be an option for others. It's working for me.

I wish we could do that with people we speak to on here because no one else can possibly even begin to understand what we are going through both before and after sentencing. Really happy you have met a new friend xx
So happy you've found support :) I feel the same that it would be good to meet up with people. I have found this forum so good though and am so grateful for the support, understanding and information I have had so far x
I read about this forum - perhaps sounds overreactive but I wondered how people would react in regards of sex offfenders - is it safe?
I haven't met anyone from the lff forum but have told a few people where I am in the UK via message. Maybe if you message people in a similar situation to yourself or someone who you think you might get on well with saying where you are then if you're close enough or even if you're not and have the means to travel it might be an option xxx
