So last night I checked my oh phone as I normally do every few days/ week I noticed his search history as been deleted due to him updating the phone the night before he has emailed his visor straight away but now I'm worrying will they class this as a breach even though he new nothing about it. If it wasn't for me doing a random check it could of been happening for however long. The update turned the sync Google account part off so it's deleted without knowing
Has anyone else had anything like this please

That sounds very stressful. You would hope they'd be able to trace the update and understand the situation but I expect it's not always that simple. Have no experience but hopefully someone who has will see this soon and help you xx
The update shouldn't have deleted the Google history, it might have deleted the Cached data, but the source data is still there. Log into the Google account and all the search activity will be there. If you are on android, so should all the browsing and app history.
