Finally after 50 weeks since the knock and I pluck up the courage to talk to stop it now and engaged have been in queue now for 40 mins
Hang in there. I've only phoned once so far ( 8 weeks since arrest) but the person I spoke to was amazing.

Thank you for trying to contact us. We have between 3 and 6 staff on our helpline at any time but calls do usually last about 40 minutes so this does mean we can't always meet the demand. We find that the helpline is really busy in the mornings, especially on a Monday. You may find that afternoons or evenings are easier to get through. Sometimes 1pm and 5pm in particular can be a good times to try as we have shift change over so new staff starting at this time. Please do keep trying, we are here for you every step of the way.

I always call dead on 9am and wait about 10 mins. Please keep trying, I done it 10 months after and I wish I had done it sooner.
