My ex lived with his parents, had a child with an ex who he adored and saw regularly, however since the knock things have been concerning me. Firstly he only saw his child, weekly at his parents. Secondly his ex inferred to me that she would only let his child come on holiday I'f I was there. I may be overthinking but I'm concerned that his family and ex knew of a previous offence. But nobody notified me, bearing in mind I have children myself. It's making me so angry considering this. Would the police be able to tell me if he had previous?

Partner,

Don't quote me on this but I believe through Sarah's law you should be able to fill in a form and then if he has got previous the police will decide if he could be a risk to your children and would then tell you. If I have the wrong end of the stick I apologise, but Google Sarah's law.

Hi partner

Dottie could well be right, I think everyone had the right to know if a sex offenders is living near them, plus if he's still on probation then his probation officer should have warned you but that would only be if he'd told them he was with you I guess.

Try Sarah's law and if no joy contact the police who are investigating him now

Hope you get the answers you want xx

The officer in charge will be able to tell you if there are any previous convictions in relation to sex offences. Mine did and he had no choice in me knowing as they had already been dealt with. They just can't tell me anything to do with what is happening now.
