Yet another programme glorifying the police.
Lets see if their misdemeanours and the numerous offenders within the force will be mentioned.....
Doubt it somehow! We'll hammer the sex offenders and other criminals and hide away from their own shortfalls.
Typical.....

Smile Through Tears, I'm in full agreement with you on the police! I wouldn't trust the police ever again!!

I agree Parkerpoo1 not an easy job and no doubt many do an excellent job.
But I hate these programmes of sheer promotion of the police like they are Gods and do no wrong. And my goodness over the past few years has this been idea been challenged, esp where the Met is concerned!
I know we've been here a thousand times but since having had experience with them through this journey I am left with little respect, exactly the same as they showed me and my family.

Ok, I watched it that night but I needed a few days to process it before talking as it was a huge trigger, but it did give me some comfortable knowledge to.
The fact they're arresting 5/6 people a week, just in the London area shows that this is a HUGE problem. This needs to be addressed. Personally, I would love to talk about it but will only ever do it anon to protect my family. This is so sad, as between us we have so much to share, but the stigma keeps us quite. So the police need to be educating, going in our schools and taking candidly about these subjects so that everyone knows from a young age. No pussy footing about (I think sometimes schools are up against ot from parents, that don't want there children to know about this) the position I have been in this year, my younger children know alot now as i don't want them to be in the same situation. Some things hit home (Leaha Betts, that picture never left me and put me off drugs) We also need to have these conversations at home, i actually had re porn not being how sex is and treeting a girl respectfully, concent, be careful of strangers on the internet etc. But not about child explotation and what these images represent. Porn and addiction has to be looked into as well, its a slipery slop and our social media have to be help more accountable etc
I'm not the hugest fan of the police any more, just because of whats happened over the years, I don't think I would stop if they tried to pull me over, I'd drive to the police station. but, they did treat my son with respect and took his autisum into account while arresting him etc and for that I will be always greatful. The CPS on the other hand, I feel for these type of crimes its a tick box exercise. Yes my son do wrong, yes he should be punished but I still feel for what he got in court, we could have got the same under a caution and when I hear that only 1% of spike cases get caught (Thats intent) then I feel these cases hit the figures they need.
I don't think these crimes should go unpunished, please don't think I'm not saying there are not any victiims as there truely are (I've worked with exploted kids) I feel it's just a mindfiled and its only going to get worse with AI etc.
