Hi,
my husband has court tomorrow. The social work report has been completed and we were hopeful of an end tomorrow as my husband has been going back and forward to court since last December.
the KC contacted us today to say that they are concerned that my husbands guilty plea doesn't match with the Charge and they they might let it go to a trial. We haven't seen the social work report but can they actually do this? It's an extreme porn charge for 11 images surely that seems excessive. I'm not trying to minimise what he's done but this has been going on for three years.

Thank you for all the kind comments. He was called first today. We have to go back next Thursday. What a carry on however, the judge was very apologetic and said he didn't want to rush to a decision on sentencing social work report was actually quite good he was low for all categories and moderate for one. The social worker said that due to his OCD and mental health this could lead to looking at images again but even that doesn't really make sense Xx

Oh, Rachel, I'm so sorry it's carrying on till next week, but I'm glad the judge was honest and didn't make an irrational decision. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
