Fed up.... again

I'm so fed up with the waiting.
I'm so fed up with the lies from all sides.
I'm so fed up with everything.
Legal aid is worse than having nothing. They don't provide any service and the person who did the crime refuses to look for someone else. I can't get any updates and just pointless read from a script answers from the police social worker who didn't bother to reply to me for 2 months.
No help. No support. No updates. Nothing.

EA,
I completely sympathise with you. Having a solicitors who aren't doing what they are meant to be doing is so frustrating. I'm not sure of the ins and outs but I ended up having to complain and it made them pull their finger out, this was right before the trial and the stress from their incompetence was the worst part of it all! They ended up allocating a new barrister and it paid off. We must not accept a poor service regardless of being legal aid, we have the same rights as anyone else.
Please look at the SRA website and look at their guidelines both solicitors and legal firms must adhere to, pick out points which you feel they are not performing to the standard of and write a complaint, evidencing your concerns and referencing the points they are failing to meet according to the guidelines. These complaints are taken so seriously because if the firm doesn't respond and take action causing you to take it further to the legal ombudsman, not only are the firm charged £500 for the investigation the complaint causes but if there is evidence of malpractice, solicitors can be struck off.
If you want a hand with anything please feel free to PM me. Sending love and support xxx
