Hiya all. We have recently been advised of NFA from the OIC. Fantastic news. Has anyone experience of getting their property returned? What can we expect? How do we go about doing so? No further action because 'the evidence did not meet the evidential stage of the full test code set out in the Code for Crown Prosecutors.'

Thank you.

Hi this must be a huge relief to yourselves. My husband also got NFA and we were told by the OIC that she would request a letter to be sent to us advising when he could pick the devices up. We got the letter about a week later I think.

Sad and confused, thank you.

Did you have to request the return or did the OIC automatically arrange their return without asking?

Sorry for late reply! I've only just seen this. The OIC said she would request that the department holding the phones send us a letter to advise when my husband could pick the phones up. She was very good to be honest throughout the whole (horrific) process.

Thank you for all your replies. The OIC has sent a request to the property store with authorisation to return all property taken. They will then be in contact to arrange collection. Could take some time as they need to locate and they hold a lot of stored items. Hopefully won't be that long.
