Outcome of extreme porn case

Today I can finally write the words I have longed to since 10th of May 2021. It's all over.
My husband had been charged with extreme porn. We had the Knock in May 2021 and the devices did not come back until November 2022 with his first court appearance in December 2022. We have been going back and forward to court since then but today was the last appearance. At the moment we are in absolute shock however, we have had the best possible outcome we could have hoped for.
my husband has not been placed on the sex offenders register. Our KC read sentencing guidelines in the summer of this year the options to do with the register and argued the case successfully to the judge. The judge took his time and listened and took further guidance and today he sentenced my husband to 120 hours of non paid work. He apologised to my husband for the length of time everything has taken and even the crown agreed that they were not looking for him to be placed on the register.
I know that I am rabling on here but most importantly I want to say thank you to each and every one of you. The support you have offered me, the level of knowledge and information you have provided and the way you have lifted me up at times of great distress I wouldn't have gotten through this without you all. Your level of strength and resilience is remarkable. Thank you thank you thank you.
I often imaged how we would react if we had a good outcome but we are just sitting here in a state of shock hopefully that will wear off soon. Tomorrow is a new beginning and the rest of our lives and I for one are very much looking forward to it xxxxx
