I hope everybody is well as they can be. Sunday for me is a day of doing my stuff and going out for coffee and a nice walk.
Not forgetting the dreaded wrapping of Xmas presents.

Dont mention the dreaded wrapping of the presents I keep putting it off my plan is now to buy a bottle of wine next Saturday and drink as I wrap lol x
Hope you are both keeping well, I'm just back from walking the furbaby, a cuppa before I take her back to my daughters then a bit of food shopping, then sunday afternoon just relaxing

Spent ages wrapping presents for our daughter to take home to her and her sister's homes far away before she flew back yesterday. I had far more than I'd anticipated and said I'd pay for any excess weight in her suitcases. Ooops, nearly £200 on the credit card!!!! It was more than the cost of the gifts..... I'm in trouble now with my husband as I promised to go easy on what I bought.
Now I have to turn my attention to those of us back home so that will be my focus this week, probably wrapping next weekend. We don't know if it will be just me, husband and son on Christmas Day or whether his children will be with us - might not know before the end of the week as it's involving child protection issues - so I'm fretting over what food we'll need, but makes a nice change from fretting over prison sentences I guess.
Just off out for a brisk country walk with son and grandchildren whilst my husband cooks a roast dinner!

Now that he's gone, I'm spending all the money he expected me to spend on him on myself! Including what would have been his Christmas present fund! So today I took my new walking boots out on a 'test drive'. What a glorious day it's been weatherwise. I could even feel the warmth of the sun on my face. It's little moments of happiness that are really worth embracing.
I've been to my great niece's birthday party. A lovely afternoon with close family. Hope everyone has a good week x

I've spent the afternoon out in the fresh air with my husband, son and grandchildren. Life is by no means perfect but we are learning to make the most of what we have and enjoy the moment.
