On edge.....

I am completely on edge today.... trying not think about this.
We are 6 months post knock & the police and social services have been meeting to decide if OH can move back into our spare room (which is separate from the house) and OH moved to RUI (or bail updated).
I have written a safety plan about how I can protect / supervise the children while he is living here and yet can be self contained when I can not supervise.
SS have said yes, OIC and his DS have said yes and and now we are waiting to get sign off from the DI.
The waiting is killing me as OH has been spending money we don't have renting a room in a house as we have no family near by.
I am trying to focus on how lucky we are for my safety plan even to be considered but i just want to know now!

Fingers crossed for you, I can imagine that it's been a long wait.

I hope you are successful, fingers crossed for you.
We are in exactly the same position although we're parents and not partners with our son's children staying with us very regularly. We submitted a safety plan once our son was RUI and although the SW is hugely supportive her 'superiors' said that until the full device check was completed things had to stay the same ie sleeping elsewhere. We don't have a separate room like you've described so hopefuly that will be a big plus in your credibility about safeguarding your family xx

Fingers crossed for you! Really positive to hear so many people are in favour, let's hope the decision maker takes it all on board.
I can't wait for the day my husband is allowed back home. I'm praying it won't take too much longer

Last night the good news finally came - he is now RUI and can live at home, locked in the spare room (which has its own external door) and I have will supervise all contact (or ask him to go elsewhere when I can not supervise)
Now I just want to get focussed on much longer the police expect to spend searching the devices..... I have heard they have started at least.
