The eve before the xmas eve

My heart is full of excitement to see my son tomorrow morning, we have 2 hours together with his older brother and his beautiful sister but yet it aches at the same time when we talk, and laugh, he will no doubt eat a mountain of food , my HC in his element, then time is called and we have to leave, I hold the tears and hug him so tight, then I go back for another hug, we don't look back as it's so hard to , but we look forward to our next visit,

This time of year is always the worst for many of us however I am grateful I get to see him while shopping today I met a homeless man and his dog, and I stopped to see how he was, I went back in to the supermarket and brought some food and treats for the furbaby and some sandwiches and snacks for him, he was so grateful and asked me why I did this, I said because no one knows the journey we find ourselves on, and if just one person recognizes another then how can we begin to understand so tomorrow I will hug my son even harder xx

Lovely post. Hope you have a lovely visit..although I know it will be tough your love shines through. What a kind gesture to the homeless guy. We dont take many positives from this journey, but I think it has improved my empathy with other people. Sending love to you and yours for Christmas and the New Year.x

We are home now and had a lovely visit all together

He did well as always, let's see what you think

6 crumpets (yep 6)

A warm sausage roll

A bag of ready salted crisps

An orange shortbread xmas cookie

A chocolate yule log cake

A bag of peanut m&ms

A 3 pack of bourbon biscuits

A magnum ice lolly as they diddnt have the icecream

All washed down with a bottle of Oasis

We had lots of laughter, seeing my boys hug together really was the best xmas gift I could ever ask for

When it was time to leave, we left with smiles and warm hearts, and lots of hugs and as always an extra special hug for my dear friend and her son x

Wishing each and everyone of you the warmest of love for tomorrow, no matter how difficult, we are all here for each other

Love sent as always xx

Upset, I'm so pleased to know you had such a wonderful visit and that you all left with your hearts full. Thank you to HC for not disappointing us with his food intake. Its so heart warming to know that you were all able to hug and that you have such a great bond.

Sending you all love and peace,
