Snakes and ladders

Didn't know what to call the topic, but have realised today that this process is like a really tough game of snakes and ladders, where there unfortunately aren't many ladders.
So here we are nearly two years on from the knock, OH has been fortunate enough to stay at home due to SS signing us off quite early, our kids are older and SS realised he was low risk. He has shown a lot of remorse, has worked so hard on his mending (I don't want to go into much detail here due to possibly identifying us) after a PTSD diagnosis, linked to his job. A bad porn addiction gone too far. I don't condone what he has done, far from it, but I do understand how it happened.
I have been terrified up until now that he may have not told me everything & been truthful, but we found out yesterday what was on the devices. The positives were that there weren't any surprises, numbers of images were approx what he suspected, but the negatives were that they have proof of comms with a decoy. This obviously changes everything in terms of sentencing.
So for ages we have been thinking it would be a suspended sentence, and today we are both terrified it may be custodial.
I have gone from strong capable woman running my own business one day, to scared rabbit in headlights, curled up in a blanket, glued to the spot.
I don't really know why I am messaging, just needed to let it out.

It may not necessarily change his charges. There were things found on my persons phone that he wasn't charged with. I suppose it depends on how strong the evidence is and whether the oic wants to pursue the communication or not.
In terms of custodial it's all dependent on the judge on the day as both iioc and communication can carry a custodial as its within the guidelines for both.
The things he has done to work on himself should be viewed positively by the judge xxx

Have you got a solicitor, they may well be able to advise?
My OH was sentenced before Christmas. He got a relatively harsh sentence and I think one of the reasons why he did not get sent to prison was that they are full. This seems to have been a factor for other people on here at the moment.
