Would love some thougts regarding repeated requests from the police to provide passwords again, which were definitely provided at initial interview.

Also OIC contacting the person under investigation for this info via phone call or email despite a solicitor telling them that everything should now come via themselves.

Pros and cons of being co-operative (or otherwise) much appreciated especially from anyone who has been in the same situation but now with hindsight regrets their decision, whichever it was!

Hi,

I'm not speaking from experience in this but I'd be inclined to draft an email with all passwords to devices on and forward to the solicitor to send to the oic. The solicitor can then repeat their request that correspondence is via themselves.
If any further requests are made to the person directly then look to follow the complaints procedure.
In my opinion this shows a willingness to cooperate whilst maintaining boundaries and providing a paper trail evidencing cooperation xxx
