James is asking how a parent found out and I've tried to text him to point out that it might be at the Knock and asking him to mention the 'under 18' definition of a child plus mentioning LFF but my text wouldn't send.

However as I typed that someone messaged James with a story about this. He's reading it out now. If it's someone from this forum I'd like to applaud you for sticking your head above the parapet xx

Had to stop listening as much as I like James O'Brien he was clearly showing that he had no understanding of the ease in which anyone can break the law and kept reverting to the assumption that most boys would be looking at legal porn, let alone having any knowledge of terminology like 'making' in regard to this, or pseudo-images or AI. But not many of us would have had that knowledge pre our person's involvement. so he can be forgiven.

Hopefully someone educated him but I'm afraid that I could feel my already high BP rising and as I wasn't prepared to take him on myself I took the coward's way out and switched off!

Just seen on itv lunchtime news about the dangers of violent porn and iioc. It said that men are three clicks away from viewing iioc. They were also talking about tougher regulations on porn sites

Lots of talk girls, hey but where's the action.

i feel so so sad for these young people viewing this stuff, believing it's legal, then the bomb drops and they not only find their life in tatters, it's destroys the lives of the people that surround them.

It breaks my heart how easily it happens to so many....

This story was about all sexual offences, not just IIOC and it shows that 50% of all the offences are being committed by children, against other children. There was a seperate investigation by the Guardian in December, which found something similar, but specifically for IIOC.

https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2023/dec/04/thousands-young-people-caught-watching-online-child-abuse-images-scary-figures-show-england-wales

"More than 6,000 children and teenagers were identified in 2022 across the 21 police forces who responded in full to the requests. A total of 3,591 children from the same forces were identified as watching or sharing online child abuse images between January and October"

So thats nearly 60% of all the people that are arrested for IIOC, are under 18s. Thats much higher than I would have expected. It's unbelieveable really.
