Release from prison

My person is due to be released from prison in 16 weeks time. He breached his SHPO unintentionally. Does anyone know if the probation service will visit my home or ring me to confirm he can come back home. We've no children so that's not an issue

my OH should be released in 7 weeks and I've had nothing as of yet but from what I've been told his probation officer will come visit me at our address before he comes home, his probation officer should meet with him first but he's been told it could be as close as 2 weeks before release depending on how busy they are x
