Just catching up on the recent posts, thinking of you all who have found themselves here and for some difficult decisions, my heart goes out to you x
Another week done at work, can you believe we are almost in to Feb
So I have a visit tomorrow with the HC on the same day as my Birthday another year older and I am sure lots more wrinkles have appeared ;-) but I am looking forward to a hug x
I have just started watching The Wire it's been out ages but it seems to be ok for now anyway
I hope you have all something nice to look forward to the weekend or something to keep you occupied x

I have been saddened to read some of the stories on here this week and my heart goes out to each and every person here whatever stage they are on this journey.
We are now a year on from sentencing and I can honestly say that without the help and support of the incredible people in this forum I don't think I would still be here today- they have held me up when I could see nothing except darkness and given me so much love, understanding and advice.
We are moving forward and I am proud of the way in which my son has not only faced up to his offence but has also taken great steps towards improving and rebuilding his life despite facing prejudices from both the Visor and his PO who are incredibly biased and judgemental...life is very different from what I had imagined but he and I are both still here and brighter days will come.
We have come through the storm and we will not be beaten.

Me - a good week. It was wonderful to see blue skies today, after the cold, wet and windy storms we've had to endure recently. I sat and watched the clouds float by in the sky / very therapeutic, roll on summer....
My boy is good we had a real belly laugh on the phone earlier. An over the top laugh that use to irritate me - now music to my ears and a sound around the house I miss SO much....
As always sad to read posts from newcomers, I just want to give them a hug - and reassurance, they will get through this ......x what a s..t journey for sure....

I too have been sad to read peoples stories this week and send my love, strength and support to you all.
I've had a good week this week. I attended another yoga session which I really enjoyed My daughter came with me which was good as we don't often get time together without children and other family members around. I also completed the 3rd session in a 4 week worry management course which I'm doing through Talking Therapies.
One of the lessons I've taken from this whole experience is the need to look after ourselves. As we struggle with the challenges we're facing, remembering to take time to breath can help.

K4 spring is on the way. That really lifts my spirits too.
I've had a good week. Short staffed at work but nothing I can't handle and it doesn't bother me now. After what we've all got going on its the least of my worries.
It's lovely and sunny here today so that always lifts my mood.

Happy birthday upset.
K4 I haven't noticed the snowdrops coming up in our garden. I will have to go and have a look. I don't like plants or flowers inside but I do like to buy daffodils for my office at work to brighten it up.
It has been a busy week taking my daughter to pantomime rehearsals on Monday and Wednesday, then they were performing on Thursday, Friday and 2 performances on Saturday. Tuesday was our only free evening and I planned to not go out at all, even when my other daughter asked us to help her move the rest of her stuff from her boyfriend's to her new house. We went to see the pantomime last night and it was a lot of fun. Don't know what to do with our Monday and Thursdays now.
Our other daughter has moved into her new house now. She said her first night felt weird as she's used to a lot of people being around and she was on her own.
