Hi BettyBoo65

I am so sorry that you find yourself here.

There is some research to show being on the autistic spectrum can make you more vulnerable to going down this dark path of viewing illegal images and/ or communicating online. It could be worthwhile you looking at the research online that has been written by Dr Clare Allely in relation to people on the autistic spectrum and sexual offending.

Have you or the person you are supporting spoken to the helpline? The young person in our family did the Young Persons Inform Course and they are on the autistic spectrum. It was hugely beneficial to do the course to understand how they had got into trouble online. Many people on the spectrum are quite vulnerable when it comes to the internet, they don't always see the dangers they could be getting into.....

I hope this helps you in some way.

Just want an end to it
