Hi. I'm feeling very isolated and wanted to seek advice from others that potentially get it. Ive had lots of well meaning advice but feel caught between genuine concern and fishing for gossip.
My family has been torn apart by my husbands actions. He's days away from being taken off the SOR but I still feel judged for standing by him. I absolutely respect and support my siblings views as they all have children but feel caught in the middle. My husband readily accepts that I need to see my family and drives me there and leaves me, without seeing them. I made the decision to stick by him while the investigation was going on, as the police had all the info. I only had what he told me. I'm still here. We've done almost 2 years of him on the SOR, and our liaison officers have been awesome.
Maybe I'm just feeling scared that that police support is set to stop, and they seem to be the only ones who have got it so far.
Any tips for moving forward? I desperately want to stay in my marriage. Will we ever get past this?

I'm so sorry about your family and there are lovely people here in similar circumstances who will empathise with you and give you their perspective about this.
Just to say too, that after so much criticism of the police (including from me) it's refreshing to read that they have given you good support.
Not from this particular situation, but I do know people can mellow in time and change their attitude about things, especially if they love you and see how it's affecting you being stuck in the middle. Is there anyone who is more sympathetic than the others who you could talk to and explain how you feel?
Big hug xx

Does anyone have advice about how long from devices been looked at to reports coming back its been 12 months since the knock and my son is telling me absolutely nothing it's killing me I feel so heart broken I've contacted the PC whose dealing with the case and all I had back was the devices had been looked at but reports wasn't.
Thank you Rainyday. I genuinely feel the only non judgemental people I have are my GP and the liaison officer. I think I'm extra twitchy as we just have 8 days left of my husband being on the SOR, then 50% of my support will be gone. So grateful to have found this page xx
Hi Mt123
Our knock came in Sept 2020 but no judgements came until Dec 2021. He was then put on the SOR Feb 2022. I think it was after that that he was told to go pick up the devices

It was about 18 months from the knock till we heard back from the Police 're what was found on devices..and probably only two/three weeks prior to court case.
It all seemed to happen quickly and our solicitor talked with prosecutors office to discuss what my OH was going to plead as soon as he had this info. Then OH was in court a week or so later.
Overall you really don't get told much until court case ready. It is a hard time waiting and the unknown....
I'm in Scotland so my timeline may be different than elsewhere.
