My family member has had their first phone call with solicitors. It blew past and they are still a bit lost. They have a date for the next day in court but they are unsure what to do regarding internet and devices. They have also had a bereavement of a very close family member and are trying to organise this and manage banking and similar. They never used a tablet and don't really see a problem using one again but I've advised to hold off until they understand bail conditions a bit clearer. It is also difficult because my sibling is now back overseas and they use WhatsApp and email to communicate. Does anyone have any advice for this, given how much we use technology now how do they survive without it?

Thanks

It depends on the status of your person. If they are under bail, there may be conditions attached. If they are RUI then they can pretty much carry on as normal.

a good solicitor should also send a letter summarising what has happened. Has your person had this? It might be worth following that up just so you understand.
