I've tried looking at ways to help us with descalating our CPP with SS as they're not giving us any help or advice on what steps to take, my OH doesn't live with us- never has since my child's birth, and my child is supervised by myself and my parents who have been assessed to provide supervision 24/7.

I've looked into safety plans but unfortunately a lot of it revolves around children who can communicate like having discussions with them, PANTS etc. but nothing on how to create a safety plan around a baby.

I honestly don't know what more I can do apart from what we're already doing, I have ideas in what I could do if my OH was ever allowed to come home, but the way things have been said to me I don't know if that will ever be a possiblity.

has anyone got any tips for this? thanks xx

Hi,

We don't live together but when our daughter wasn't old enough to speak our safety plan was very basic. Supervision and no personal care done by dad were the ways I felt most effective in keeping her safe.

I added in steps for as she grows and is able to understand more and communicate such as pants work to show that I was planning for the future. Perhaps you could do some research on the signs of abuse in young children and add that you having an awareness helps to keep your little one safe xx

As above, plus add a video baby monitor that only you have the mobile app for to alert you should anyone go in the bedroom (I've found the much cheaper pet ones eg tapo are best!)

Take baby with you to the toilet

Showering with baby in line of sight of when baby is asleep and partner is out
