Good afternoon to all you wonderful ladies x

How can we be on Friday already and the 1st of March seriously time is flying by, my boss said to me today it will soon be Christmas I wont repeat my response! Lol x

I have had an ok week much the same as usual to be honest, but I had a video call with the HC yesterday, he is in good spirits, a better week for food so that helps, no visit this weekend but I have a visit on my own next week then one with my daughter 2 weeks after that so he will have 2 feasts in a month :-) x

Today I collected the furbaby from my daughters and I have her for the weekend, when we got back I managed to miss the torrential rain on our walk thankfully

I hope you all have a good weekend ahead and look forward to hearing from you all

Love sent as always xx

Good start to March. Son happy with first StopSO counselling session. We are happy that he is 'happy'.

End the day with a friend catch up & hot tub. Lots of positives to cling onto.

Have a good weekend.

Hello friday check in,

well if you have read my previous post you will know this has not been a good week.

But, it is the weekend, met up with a friend this afternoon (who does not know) but it was nice. Going out to lunch tomorrow and Sunday going for a long walk, not decided yet where to go. Walk around a reservoir, woods or a waterfall walk. Choices..choices.

Got back on my diet which makes me feel better. Feeling a little sick after all the rubbish i have been eating. Thinking on joining a gym, exercise keeps me sane. Going to more dance classes as it is exercise without the effort.

Glad you got your furbaby this weekend Upset. Hope everyine has a nice weekend. X

I now have visions of us LFF ladies holding a glass of bubbly in EBP's hot tub. Fingersup to our problems we'll just giggle and relax plus freeze!!!!!! And why not ?

Talking of watery pursuits I'm thinking of taking up swimming. After a back strain I'm feeling I need a form of gentle exercise to supple up. I've paid for an annual membership (extremely cheap) as I'm now a officially a pensioner.... give it a go....

Everything is ok with me and son doing good.

Hello Friday,

A mixed week here, a big birthday in the house, a new job for my person and an unexpected reminder of how much of a single parent I am when looking for work.
I'm very qualified but unfortunately my employability is ridiculous low due to a lack of support in childcare. Working full time hours isn't an option for me at the moment because I don't have anyone who could pick little one up from nursery in the event that I was running late.
It brings up the resentment that I'm stunted in my ability to provide in the way that I want to be able to and I suppose in the way I was promised when agreeing to have a baby.
I hope you're all doing as well as you can be and that you'll forgive my moaning especially in the scheme of things on here xxx

Hope everything is going ok well apart from the hot flushes ,I was so fortunate I didn't have the hot/cold flushes I can imagine how uncomfortable it can be especially the cold feelings!

Haha I remember when you brought your expensive cream instead of the dishwasher haha but deffinatly worth it eh! and you still have some left so actually it was worth it x

How are yours keeping? Have you now finished all your decorating?xx

Big Birthday for someone many happy returns

Great news on the new job front for your OH

Sorry your feeling pressure having to be sole support and not been able to do something work wise, try to look at it a different way and ease the feelings on yourself, not sure what your profession is but I am sure once little one gets older you will be able to find something that works for all of you

You are an amazing person who has been through this horrendous journey, you have become a single parent because of this but you get through each day so look at just how incredibly strong you are Never forget that! xx

Hi everyone and hugs if you need one, a high five if you'd like to share one, a pat on the back if you deserve one (that's all of us), a fan to cool you down if that would help, some superhuman strength if that's required and lastly a tissue if you need one (snotty nose, tears or to remove make-up but NOT to spit on and wipe a child's grubby face which is what my mother used to do only a hankie instead of a tissue. YUK!)

OK week here with 2 birthdays celebrated quietly although a big thrill for me as my daughter arranged a Cameo (where you pay a favourite personality to record a video for someone) and I have a bit of a Nanacrush on a tap dancer who I've seen in lots of shows and there he was talking to me and wishing me a happy birthday. Also of course Facetimes with our daughters, always lovely.

Went to see 'Wicked little letters' and what a great film, outrageously funny, superb acting and educational as I now have some extra insults to add to my collection!!!

I see it's been snowing in some parts of the country so happy snow times if that's you and keep warm.

Lots of weekend love from me xxx

Hello all, I really hope the sun was shining for you all this afternoon. It was cold but lovely and bright here so we enjoyed an afternoon at the park.

My son is doing well so that always makes me feel better.

I met up with a friend for lunch this week which was good. I'm not sure if she knows about my son or not as nothing was mentioned. I'm now at a point that I'll tell people if the subject arises but don't feel I'm hiding anything if I don't. Everyone has a past and a story to tell but when we tell it and who we tell it to is up to us.

I'm still doing the temporary job I got moved into several months ago. The reason for the move has never been fully explained but I am making the most of having a less stressful job for the moment.

I enjoy the Friday check in and thank you all for being there. Sending everyone strength, peace and love.

I had a good day, took my eldest to Costa today. I drank a nice cup of cappuccino, while he did some colouring. Well, I had to do most of the colouring - he loves to watch me paint hehe.

We've had a complaint that he's been disobedient and misbehaving in nursery, so we're working through this at the moment.

I wish you all a lovely weekend xx

Thanks Upset, I appreciate your kind words.

HPl111, do you think it's a response to the new little one? Hopefully some quality time together will make him feel less put out if that's the case xxx

@Upset mum: It could be - he doesn't know what's going on, he's 3 1/2 and was 2 at the time of the knock, but children are sensitive and pick up on subtle things

@Distressed and pregnant:

It could be jealousy/feeling a bit unsettled because of the new sibling.

He doesn't show any jealousy, but his nursery worker said he can still feel it.

I give him lots of 1:1 attention now, sing songs, cuddles and read books to him.

I have also ordered a set of 20 toy cars. I'll wrap them individually and every time his behaviour is good, I'll give him a car at the end of the day.

Yeah, sometimes emotions come out in unusual ways at that age. The cars sound like a good idea. Toddlers are hard work at the best of times bless them xxx
