Good Afternoon lovlies x

I hope you are all doing ok

So today is Intenational women's day celebrating how amazing all women are! for me every day is a reason to celebrate how incredibly strong, resilient, commpassionate, understanding, empathetic, kind, and selfless each and everyone of you beautiful ladies are so no matter how difficult this journey is never forget how special you are!x

My week has been good, picked the furbaby ul she is here for a few hours only as my Daughter and her BF are out for a meal with his family, we had a lovely fresh but sunny walk over the field and she had fun playing with a few other furbabys for a little while, she is currently snuggled up next to me snoring away!

I have a visit on my own with the HC tomorrow and I didn't even realise it is mothers day Sunday so will be lovely to see him the day before an extra long hug (how lucky is he haha)and no doubt he will fill his tummy to bursting point x

I hope you all have something nice to look forward to even if it's just something small, inexpensive, but just something to bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart x

If anyone of you is struggling then please message me I cant change our journey but knowing you are not and will never be alone in this helps to know we are here for you!

To all you amazing mums love sent as always xx

Good afternoon Friday check in and thank you Upset for always being there.

My week hasn't been great but I've got through it. I've realised that I don't have the resilience I once had and that it doesn't take much for my anxiety to spiral but I'm so much better at managing it and bring it back under control so I feel that in itself is something to celebrate.

I'm looking forward to Sunday. My mum is planing to visit and we are booked into a nice hotel for lunch with other family members. I'd ordered her a book about the year she was born. Unfortunately I bought the wrong year and have now realised that she wasn't born on the year I thought she was which has made me laugh and I know will make her laugh too.

Upset, how lovely that you're going to see your wonderful son tomorrow and will get that much needed big bear hug.

I echo what Upset has said and am always here for anyone that needs support, please reach out and don't suffer in silence.

Hi all - we are certainly together on Sunday and supporting each other on Mothers Day, which no doubt could be a difficult day for some.

Hope all goes well Upset with your visit and remember that extra hug, the hug I'd love to give my son x bless you x

Had a decent week overall and had a great conversation with my son earlier. He spent time with the falconer this afternoon and enjoyed meeting and discussing the various birds of prey. App a member of the public brings in birds to the prison, to let loose and scare off the seagulls! Fascinating...x

so not so bad here xxxx

Good evening,

Another mixed week for me I am afraid on this bumpy journey, daughter had art exhibition at school I was nervous as first thing been too since hit the media 3 weeks ago but it was fine as always my mind was my worst nightmare, hubby had has meeting today as he has been suspended on full pay since media he no longer has a job there he had only been there 2 months as had taken redundancy late last year so isn't that bad he feels he wants a fresh start anyway just enough to help with the bills will do us fine. I visited the craft fair at secc in Glasgow today spent a little more than I planned but craft is my happy place and does wonders for my mental health.

Have a wonderful weekend folks xx

Hi Inturmoil - I think there is a period of time you constantly look over your shoulders when venturing out but that will fade but I feel never truly go away.

Personally my problem is overthinking - if I see someone from my past my heart fills with dread, do they know, will they ask, what do I say etc. it's definitely not as bad but those thoughts remain.

im so glad you enjoyed going to the craft fair.

Well done for facing it head on!!!!!

My life has been turned upside down again this week with my husband being released from prison. All those dark thoughts of not wanting to be here and not wanting to deal with it all came back.

On a brighter note my youngest and his girlfriend are up staying with me this weekend.

Must get up as I've said I will go to parkrun this morning.

Well, today is my birthday. Started off OK as I went up to the yard and had a lovely ride with 2 friends. Got back and my person was up. Asked me how the horse was, but didn't wish me a happy birthday. Gathered up the presents and cards I had been given, and he passed me a bag with a card and gift in saying they were from him. He then promptly went upstairs and just left me to it.

This is one of the crappest birthdays I have ever had. I also think that this is probably a good indication of the state of our relationship and where it is going.

Anxious Girl

I hope you got to Parkrun., I always feel better after it - not physically!
The weekly Parkrun is very good for wellbeing & a good start to a weekend.
Today I was a Parkwalker, encouraging others who are not competitive. Still all done within the hour!
Hope everyone feels appreciated this weekend. ????

Hi lovely ladies, had an okay week.

We went to my daughter's parents evening on Wednesday, which meant missing my weekly knitting and crochet club. She is in year 11 and this was the first face-to-face one she had at secondary school. She had a positive parents evening.

Last night my daughter had 2 friends over for pizza and a lot of messing about. She doesn't seem them often as they don't go to same school. She met them at scouts and try to meet up once a month. I worry that if their parents knew about what is happening to my oh and our family, that they wouldn't let their daughters come over.

Tomorrow me and my OH are going for a carvery at the golf lub where our other daughter is assistant chef. Hoping for a discount lol as our 15 year old daughter is also working there tomorrow as a pot washer.

On Monday our chef daughter has a growth scan as her baby is on the small size. She phoned us yesterday a bit upset, but as I've said if they were that worried they would have got her in for a scan yesterday and my daughter says that the baby is doing a lot of moving around.

Intermoil, glad you enjoyed the craft fair. Crafts are also my happy place, particularly crocheting. I've finished a baby blanket and now I'm making a baby dungaree and cardigan set in peach. Then I've got a pattern for another baby blanket to make (you can never have too many blankets).

@Upset mum: You're right and human connection makes you feel so much better xx

@Dawn19: Growth scans are notoriously unreliable. They had concerns with both of my daughters and they came out with a completely normal size and weight xx
