So Frustrating

Here we go again another 3 months bail extension. Feels like we have been living this nightmare forever but we are only 6 months in which I know compared to some is only just the beginning. I wish device checks didn't take so long.

Its awful isn't it , I was told it would be a max of 6 to 8 weeks it took 19 months, as hard as this journey is just know you are not alone x
Some cases are done quicker than others and no journey is the same
When I first came on here I read so many posts because I was hoping to understand the outcome but I soon learnt we may all be on the same horrendous journey but each situation is so different
This forum allows us to find some comfort but more importantly strength and kindness and understanding x

For me it didn't matter how long everything took because I was never going to stay with him after what he had done. A NFA would be devastating for me because I don't want him to get away with it.
Sorry to hear that Bub84. I would take this additional time you've got to put work into rehabilitation and future proofing for all eventualities.
For example my husband did lots of overtime to raise money for when he lost his job, and we sold the house in the time it took. He also did lots of work with stopso counselling and signed up for the LFF module etc. It was hard because our bail extensions were always 5 weeks at a time but it gave us lots of deadlines for each activity!
Doing these projects helped keep us focused and calm rather than sitting around panicking about what could happen, and also helped lead to a much more positive outcome for us and our family as the hard work he put in got taken into account by the judge at sentencing.

4 years and only just going to court
I'm sorry it is frustrating.
It does get better, as time goes on the bad days get further apart. I'm having a bad day reliving the nightmare and that's why I find myself here again.
Almost 4 years on and no further forward than you.
