Vigilantes

Hi there, oh just been to his supervision and supervisor commented on he seemed in better spirits and congratulations on job, then said don't get ahead though as vigilante groups tend to come out in the summer to hunt 'p' out, we were in media and there was lots of threats but nothing to the house, has anyone else had issues starting months later with vigilantes groups this was a non contact offence handful images, I feel like they just wanted to burst his bubble today or will this actually happen!!!!
This is totally and utterly inappropriate and unacceptable from someone in a Professional and supposedly supportive role. I'm disgusted and hope that you consider following this up with a formal complaint.
I feel like I have been knocked 10 paces back again by his comment, he has contacted his police liaison officer regarding this
I'm glad your husband is following this up. His Supervisors comment has absolutely no grounding and is evidently born from complete ignorance. Focus on what is going well for you both. A new job is a great accomplishment. Don't allow the ignorant comment head space. It doesn't deserve it x
Perhaps his Supervisor needs to be reminded of his role and his professional code of conduct.

Thanks life feels over it really through me today felt my anxiety through the roof again and oh went off to work feeling very low
What a disgusting comment from them. He clearly saw your OH was doing fine and decided to knock him back by either making sure he thinks he'll never move past or he meant is as a veiled threat as if he was hinting he'd offend again and the vigilantes are watching. Completely out of line.
That is a disgusting comment. Whenever I see things like this, papers, professionals, social workers using the "p " word I want them to back it up with facts. Like have they seen a medical report, a diagnosis of that person being the " p " word. It is banded around far too much and it's not right
This comment for him has really sent a ripple through me which is a bit of a reality check as you think after sentencing you will move forward easily, my oh psychologist explained at first it's like a rock dropped in the sea and there is huge ripples but as time wears on it becomes smaller ripples, 7 weeks past sentencing 45 weeks to go until conviction spent.
