Court this morning.
Oh had meeting with barrister. She informed us that CPS hadn't even bothered to look at his defence statement and wanted to proceed regardless. Barrister had a meeting with the prosecutor, who agreed it was an unusual case, but his hand were tied as cps were pushing it.
Then we find out there was no chance of getting the case heard so it was being adjourned again.
Got called into court an as OH was heading to the Dock, the Judge said no, its fine you don't need to go in the Dock. Just take a seat there. Then apologised that it was getting adjourned again and then told us that CPS were going to charge some but not all of the other people who had sent the watsapp images. Judge said he sympathised with my OH, but seen as though cps wanted to continue, then he had to go along with it.
Adjourned until end of May, but that's probably only to attend to get a trial date, so who knows when that will be.

Have they given a reason why only some are getting charged? Or is this something your solicitor can look into?
Surely if 10 people have done the same action and only 5 get charged, somebody is making a mistake either way. And if even the judge doesn't believe this should be tried, it is very weird for CPS to push it. Sounds like they want to create a precedent.

It's hard to understand and even harder to explain, as it makes very little sense. His barrister said she was exasperated, we had another barrister come over and say that she had been listening to the conversations in the advocates room, and she said it was ridiculous, this barrister represented him at his 2nd CC appearance. Absolutely nobody can understand what's happening, but it is !! He continues to be suspended from work and we can't make plans for the future and Absolutely no end in sight. We will continue to fight, but the defence costs will continue to rise. I need some wine !!!
