Happy Sunday everyone.

My oh has his pled hearing on Thursday, I'm extremely anxious about this as I have no idea what to expect and what happens after this.

I'm so worried about any press i have young children and I don't want any distress being put on them, due to any press that could be printed and people thinking they know everything when they don't know anything.

My Oh has changed his name on social media and cover picture, I'm thinking of coming of social media as I don't want to see any press regarding him (if there is any)

What should I expect once he has had his pled hearing?

Sorry for rambling xx

For us plea was very quick but we went with a not guilty plea we didn't get any press until sentencing, I came off social media when It hit press and so did oh I didn't want to read it, first weekend I was very low fear of what could happen, my daughter returned to school the next day had one girl say something school reacted immediately and her friends gave her full support she has had no issues since, I returned to work 2 days later and again not a thing said to me its been pretty normal for me, we are 8 weeks since media attention now, as I said first weekend was horrendous in our head but there was nothing to the house our police liaison advised us to lie low for a couple weeks and put a marker on our house in case of any trouble, our mind can be our worst enemy in this journey but as always we get through it.

Sending love x

Please hearing took around an hour but they was behind, he then had a date for court a month later and had 3 days to sign sor. No media attention that came after crown court. We're a year and half past sentencing now and all is calm and back to normal family life

Plea hearing lasted about 30 minutes. The prosecution read out the evidence and charges and my son pleaded guilty. He was given a date for crown court a month later and told to sign on the SOR within 3 days.

The media were there and published the story on line that same evening and in the paper the following week. His name and address were published. He came off social media after his arrest and I came off before the court hearing. I chose not to read what the media said and the comments that went with it.

Thank you all, I'm just so anxious with it all. My oh doesn't really social with people and doesn't come from our area so not well known it's just a few people that live in our road might realise its him, and then gossip if that makes any sense.
