I'm sorry you're in this horrible situation. Unfortunately lots of people on here , me included have believed that their person was so lovely/ kind/ great father, husband that he couldn't possibly have committed this offence. Unfortunately for many of us we have been deceived.
@Ihavenoclue
Police do get things wrong sometimes, but I think your partner needs to be honest with you.... The police probably have intelligence that connect the alleged offence to your IP address.
If he has committed the crime, it doesn't necessarily mean he's a monster or a bad person. Sometimes depression or just being stupid can lead men down that path.
People are multidimensional and it's up to you if you want to continue the relationship or not.
Just a word of warning - investigations take a very long time.
My husband has been arrested in July 2022 and we still haven't heard from police.

I have no clue,
I'm sorry you have had to join us here. It does suggest that whatever has happened seems to be pointed towards your partner due to you being NFA'd so quickly but him not. That doesn't necessarily mean he has committed a crime. At this stage it is alleged and being investigated. What I will say is unfortunately some men do not understand that their actions are illegal when it comes to communication offences or live in denial hoping it will go away. I agree with hpl that you need to ask him about his online activities. Starting at the route of asking if he's been chatting to anyone at all online he doesn't know. Should the case progress, everything will come to light if you remain involved as he can give you full disclosure with his solicitor meaning you can see the evidence - obviously it's never a good sign if this is denied. I hope you manage to get to the bottom of this and please keep coming here for support xx

@I have no clue
I'm so incredibly sorry, I had no idea he posed as you when committing the crime - I am not sure if that's forgivable.
Especially considering the implications for you, you being arrested ect.
