His devices NFA, MY LAPTOP going to forensics!?
Notifications OFF
So my partner was arrested in January for supposedly sharing 5 IIOC on twitter in May 2023. The police took his current phone, two of his old phones, a memory stick and my laptop (because I said he has access to it) for investigations.
The solictor updated us today and said he is being moved from bail to under investigation because all of the devices that were his are clear, however my laptop is going to forensics?! I have absolutely no idea what could be on there, maybe it was my laptop that's triggered this whole thing in the first place?! So now I'm panicking for a whole different reason.... I've had this laptop 7 years, it's lived in numerous shared housing with me as a student, and I'm not the most secure person....
Anyone else had a similar experience?
