"Contents of phone downloaded" - What does it mean?

my husband received a text from the OIC 3 weeks ago that the contents of his phone had been downloaded, that he would review them and update him in due course.
What does it mean "Contents of phone downloaded"?
Does it mean that his entire phone has been downloaded, so thousands of pictures (family pictures ect)?
Or does it only mean pictures relating to the crime have been downloaded?
I guess I'm just trying to find out how quick we can get a response. We've been waiting for almost 2 years :/ xx

Hiya it will be the whole content on the phone, all text messages, WhatsApp messages, every single photo and video including family photos etc, downloads and sometimes all search history too so it will take a while to go through it all as there will probably be hundreds or even thousands of pages to look through.
Thank you - it will probably take a long, long time to hear back from them then. Sigh.
