My partner has just been released on bail for having IIOC. What do we do now to protect his anomity for further down the line?

I haven't decided what I am going to do moving forward but need to put whatever I can in place now to protect me and him in the future.

I am devastated and have no one to talk to.

It really depends who knows about the arrest. If there are no vigilantes or third parties involved, then it probably won't appear in the media until it goes to court, assuming it does go to court.

Do any neighbours or other family members know about the arrest? If so, then rumours could start to circulate, so I would start to remove any traces of your family from social media just in case. Delete all accounts, remove any pictures, come off WhatsApp groups etc.

no one new about my family members situation until it went to court which as a little more than a year later , the media published some stuff and left a lot out to say the least which caused a media stir and was hell, house protested etc it was horrific the media defo made the situation a million times worse and wete not one bit interested in the fact another child stayed there they weren't interested that they could have written that nothing was searched for or shared purely opened from a chat , but they didn't, they don't care about thr family just their headlines..I would recommend coming off socials also just incase xx
