Can there be more?

My person was called in for a second interview and I was expecting them to find more than what they found (well what he's told us they've found... Obviously we've only heard it from him)
I keep getting a gut feeling more is going to come out.. So my question is: if he's telling the truth in what they've found and they've sent it off to cps.. What are the chances of something else coming up? Is the investigation closed or do they carry on until sentencing? Sorry if that seems like a daft question. It would make sense that the investigation has closed that's why it's all been sent off but I just have a suspision that he either isn't telling the truth or that there's more evidence to come... I'm not sure if I'm just torturing myself here

When they send off to CPS my understanding is that the police investigation is complete.
Though your defintions of complete might vary to theirs..... they may take a view they have enough to charge and win the case, so stop the investigation at that point. So e.g. if there are 1,000 of images, they might stop at 100 and use only these in the case.
Solicitors advise no comment as there might be images there but the police never find them!
So in summary I don't think the police always get the full truth to give us any closure that our person isn't hiding more.
