Sorry.. the title probably isn't right but can't think of what it should be.
New here - Almost 11 years since the knock and 10 since conviction , my person was subject to a 5yr SHPO & 5yrs on SOR. Right near the end, he accidentally used the private browsing function on his phone (you could just swipe over) and this was discovered by PPU. Took two yrs to go through it and he was sentenced for breach of order (further 2 yrs).
it's only been on his latest round of PPU officers that we've been told stuff we never knew. One of which was today.. usual visit, no issues, asked if we had any holidays coming up. I said yes, haven, and confirmed person would inform when he reregisters (as he always does).
PPU said - have you checked T&Cs to see if he can actually go.. I was like what? I had no idea. We've been to haven before and butlins three times and never knew this!! Never had an issue before but now scared holiday will be cancelled and kids will be disappointed :(

Nothing about it in his SHPO but it is in the T&Cs for the holiday parks (copied at the bottom). He always informs the relevant people when we go because he doesn't want to get caught out but we've never been told this and never had an issue on holiday).
slightly weird situ here - not together anymore however he does live with us (SS and Police okd this) as moved in during Covid to be able to see children / help me out. He's just not allowed to be fully alone with them however he is considered very low risk and we've always done as asked so this has helped I think.

The rules for holiday parks are in the parks terms and conditions. They are not part of the person's SHPO or SOR restrictions.

Haven say they won't admit someone if they know about the offence. But if they don't know about it, then you could still go and you haven't committed any offence, unless there are contact restrictions specifically mentioned in the person's SHPO. But the problem is that if the police find out you are planning to go, then they will probably contact Haven and tell them.

It's not something that the police will mention to people routinely, unless it comes up in conversation. You do have to tell the police if you are going to be there for 7 days or more though, but if you went for 6 days, then you don't have to tell them.

Haven, Butlins and most caravan parks all have it in the t&cs. We haven't been able to go since conviction. We was told to check t&c of every where we was looking at going. It's why most people on here use air b&b or private lettings that don't have the restrictions put in place. Also some theme parks and swimming places also have the restrictions in place
