So my person had his second interview and was given a date to come back to recieve his charges (or I'm hoping a caution with the little evidence they have.. But also not holding my breath..)

Can anybody tell me what actually happens? Does he just go in and they tell him his charges and thats that? I'm not sure what I'm expecting to be honest.. It just seems very brief for something that is obviously weighing very heavy on our minds right now if that's the case.

Thank you x

When he goes in they will give him the charges or they may even just post them out to him. It will then be sent to CPS to see if they have enough evidence to convict him. This can still take many months xx

When my person was asked to go in for an update on the investigation he was given his charges and the date he would need to attend magistrates court. That was it.

I have no clue

I was told by ioc that charges would only be issued after the cps had considered the evidence. He will then be asked to attend the station to receive the charges.

My sons case went to CPS, took 4 months to come back. We knew he would be charged as one CAT A then phone call to go in and be charged. Usually a quick date for court after x
