Yes, police said just possession only and CPS changed it to possession and distribution as some of the photos were on a 'cloud' and were classed as publicly accessible so they decided this warrants distribution too even though there was no evidence of actual distribution.
So he got amended charges from CPS.

Was the police (possession only) actual charges or the pre charge at the beginning?
I'm wondering if CPS charge how likely are they to add more / change after the police have given all evidence and are no longer apart of the investigation
