Hi, my ex was put in a shared house which was run by a charity that houses offenders when they are released. There were 5 other long term prisoners there ( my ex was sentenced to three years). If he hadn't been put here he'd have been homeless.
The problem was that these criminals soon sussed my ex out. They realised that he hadn't been inside for "regular" crimes. They have a hierarchy of offending it seems. These criminals do not like sex Officers against children which is why they are kept separate when they're inside. Eventually one of them googled him, found out who he was and they all forced him to leave there and then. My ex was terrified. He got no support from the Police or the charity. He became homeless. Thing is, I told him to change his name but he couldn't be bothered. If he had, it wouldn't have happened. X

We were in a similar position in that he had a home he could come to but was told he needed to stay at the AP. Whilst the area was okay, I understand your concerns. My person isn't allowed a Internet enabled phone, so he and the other SO stuck out like a sore thumb. Fortunately it was all okay, the staff were nice and gave him some advise. Whilst a horrible period in this journey, we saw it as a step towards him being home. Stay strong, you are one step closer, hopefully it won't be for long. Thinking of you x
