What was your safety plan? My social worker said we will have to come up with a safety plan. When this first happened, I was hysterical. I kept wanting more info when he could come home. I asked how long it'll take to see the kids again. I'm learning not to make it sound like I'm minimizing the situation. I'm obviously not but they might think so. I'm now being careful. This is so hard. Thank god for you guys.
Your safety plan needs to address the risks to your children and how you will mitigate them.
Depending on their age and gender you will need to show
1) they have some awareness of what is going on
2) they have people around them that they trust who know what is going on (their school, some wider family) so that they can disclose to a trusted person if anything bad happens
3) that you have taken steps to avoid exposing your children to risk (if they are young, no intimate care by your husband, if they are older, keeping all devices password protected and not sharing devices so children aren't inadvertently exposed if reoffending happens)
There is also a proforma for a safety plan in the family section I think here
