I have read a lot on here recently about their lies.

Last week OH told me OIC had been in touch to get the password for his laptop as they can't get in.

1) This is 11 months since knock and they haven't even touched the computer yet while the police have said in the past it is being searched.

2) Back in Dec, the SW gave me an update in one of our meeting to say x,000 images had been found and y were illegal!

It is just so frustrating as it is all a load of b***locks..... in for a longer wait now as 1) husband provided password on arrest 2) solicitor said not to share it again and 3) he doesn't remember it anyway after 11 months!

OH thinks he charges might be less now if they can't get into the laptop but surely they can crack these password with software?!?!

Honestly, this has been one of the things that have caused so much more distress to us. We have been given so many mixed messages and been fed lies from day one by the OIC. Hearing from others about the amount of deception from them has made me lose all trust in them - and they are the ones who have the future of our lives in their hands. Whatever faith I had in the justice system has been shattered.

What we're going through is already traumatic enough without being treated like idiots!

When in court the prosecution said the police could not get into my OH smart watch so wanted it destroyed. They said my OH was being distructive in not giving the password. They said they could not find anything on it. My OH explained numerous times that it was NOT password protected and that the reason why they could not find anything, because there was nothing. Thankfully the judge believed my OH. The police and prosecution were not happy. But my OH got his watch back. X

Do a Subject Access Request to Child Services. I have just done my second one. Ask for all meeting notes, phone logs and notes related to these, reports and other contempranious information that is in your file pertaining to you your partner (or ex) and your children. They may ask for his permission to issue data related to him, but he can give that. Ask for all MASH and Child Services logs (or whatever your regions specific organisations/departments are called).

This is VERY useful as it has everything you need to use for future meetings with them. You can see then if they are fishing, or if something has been logged by the police for example, and also who said what if it isnt redacted (this depends on who is the one working on your request. Some redact more than others).

You can also do a Subject Access Request to the police.

Thank you for the replies and letting me vent.

I will sort out that subject access request too as I do want to know what they have written in their notes.

I found out a lot about my OH in their initial investigation as it had his medical history which gave me some further context on his current emotional struggles but I haven't seen anything written since their closed their CIN case! I was at least expecting something via email that they had closed the case.
