my husband is charged with indecent images on his phone. We are still waiting for his first court date this month. I'm just curious if all of these cases make them go onto the registry? Or does it depend on the judge. I know everyone's case is so different. I'm mostly curious and hoping he doesn't have to register.

Even cautions have a SOR attached so it is unlikely that any charge will not have one. The SOR isn't too bad though as long as you update everything and stay on track. My FM has a two year one and is one year in.

If he pleads guilty or is found guilty he will definitely go on the register.

He will have to register as it was a sexual offence, unless he didn't do it and is found not to have. It will be anything from 2 years to indefinately depending on the charge. Anyone with a caution gets 2 years with no shpo it seems, then it goes up from there. The shpo is more restrictive than the SOR
