Hello,

Just curious has anyone been called in due to private photos your partner has of you on their phone?

Hey,

No but I know my partner had a whole album of photos and videos of me (both regular and indecent), I knew about the album and was fine with it, never told the police I knew about it and was never informed.

Were you aware your partner has pics of you before this? X

My hubby had a folder of me on his phone which I knew about and we both informed them of that folder on the day of the knock. They said they weren't Interested in those photos/videos and would just scan straight past them as that is not what they were looking for. His device came back and nothing was found on it. He was never questioned about any of them and the case is now with the cps awaiting a decision.

I had this worry. Also messages we'd send each other about intimate moments. I cringe just to thinking about other people reading them.

Thank you for your answers. Yes I was aware of the photos he had of me but some were taken when I was a lot younger (still over the age of 18) just worried if the police would bring me in for questioning and show me said photos as I'd be absolutely mortified.

There may be a chance that they need you to identify the photos are yourself if they are suspecting the images to be of a minor but usually they would blur the images and I would imagine they will try and make it as comfortable for you as possible. I'm sure a couple of Mums on here have had to do similar in regards to their children so may be able to advise further.
