Letters of support
Notifications OFF
We are now a few weeks from magistrates court and our solicitor said we should start drafting letters of support.
Really don't know where to start. How long should they be what should I put. Are there any examples or templates to give me a general idea of what should be said. My children who are older will also be doing them so any help with theirs would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with everything EBP has said. We were advised that the letters should be no longer than one side of A4. Should not make any suggestions about potential sentencing outcomes and to include any work they have undertaken to help them understand the consequences of their offending and to help ensure there will be no reoffending.
