Hi all.

Has anyone else's person had all bail restrictions removed after plea? My person wasn't allowed to stay over night in out house and now the plea has been done he's had restrictions removed and SW are okay eith him staying here even when kids are ( but I have to be in the house)

I'm just worried it's the calm before the storm.

As far as I know, social services are much more open to changes once legal stuff happens as they know what they're dealing with.

hope the transition home works well for you and family

Could I ask how long it took to get to this point of bail restrictions being removed from when your person received them?

hope you are okay x

My OH has had his restrictions removed after 6 months when he moved to RUI.

So I am always wondering what will happen when he gets charges / plea etc. I am presuming the SS will come back into our lives at that point but I know I will be frustrated as they will have left us alone for the now 6 months he has been on RUI!

Fearfuloffuture- its been around 22 months.

Scared mum- that's my issue, what happens when he has his court hearing do they take him away from the kids again. Surely that's the worst thing they could possibly do.

I just feel like it's all a ticking clock until it all explodes.

Hi same happened in my ex partner's case when he put plea. In at magistrates and it got sent to crown but I stuck to the current supervised contact arrangements that were in place until sentencing. It's a bit odd that they do this.

Hi,

My OH has all his bail conditions removed after crown court hearing, that was 10 months after his arrest, Social services were only ever involved at the very start, same week as arrested. But never heard a thing from them since, that was 2 years ago. My OH pleaded not guilty. Still awaiting a trial

Turns out it was the calm...

Social worker has now decided they don't care the restrictions were removed he's now not allowed home and has to leave again.

So sorry to hear this. I feel your pain, it is so unfair to us partners who are trying to hold our lives together.

Hopefully you will be through in the court process in a few months, and then can put a plan in place with the SW to work on him coming home.

I just knew that it was too good to be true. I was so relieved I could go to the toilet in peace or lay down when things were too much and its all gone and now I feel worse than I've done the whole time.

Its just made me realise that this will never be over
