My person has assured me (I've given huge ultimatums regarding us and the kids if he's lying) and the police it was an accidental click on something that was sent in a group gaming chat on KIK and nothing else will be found.
How many people have had their person tell the truth like this and it was actually the truth?
Im not in denial but I need to have some hope to get through this living hell.

Hi, my husband received a NFA he was on kik chatting to another male. After nearly 2 years the oic said there was absolutely no evidence found at all and he's done nothing wrong, the police said they got alerted by 1 notification from an email address. No actual evidence and they went into his work to arrested him, he lost his job because of it.
So my OHs explanation is very similar to yours. Except for us it doesn't involve Kik.
Our knock was Jan 22 (file was only sent to CPS 4 weeks ago!). The November prior my husband clicked on a link in an email, and he said he saw a horrific image and immediately closed the email and deleted it. For weeks after his emails were going weird they were getting deleted, reappearing, sent emails he hadn't sent. After weeks of him complaining about Apple Support over the phone he decided to go to store, 3 days before Xmas. I was not a happy bunny.
He have Apple Full Access to his devices etc. Christmas chaos emerged. In the new year he decided to just get a new phone and the issues stopped.
I do believe him and have stayed in contact with a TBC on relationship status to protect the kids, I just hope I haven't put my faith in the wrong person. As my world will collapse.
