Good news but what does it actually mean

My son has been told by probation officer and visor that because he is deemed to be low risk it is likely that his time on probation will finish next year which will be 2 years instead of the 3 years community order he was given.
Does this also mean that the SHPO will also end then or does it still run for 5 years ?
I understand that the SOR is for 5 years but when does this now become a spent conviction?

No that will still run for the five years
Thank you @Mandymoo that's what I thought
Hi, Probation is the part of the sentence that's spent in the community. The SHPO is to protect the public and will remain in place. X
