Our son has been arrested again, relating to historical possible communication, that happened on old device,pre-sentencing.

Can this still be pursued,if there is no evidence post sentencing.

He has a two year suspended sentence for IIOC.

I am terrified they may keep him in custody on remand, if CPS decide to prosecute.

Any advice from those that know.

He is now on remand for at least a month until next Crown Court hearing. Any advice on prison visiting etc etc.

Did they mention anything at court? My partner had other offences found on devices before court and the judge pretty much said to the prosecution they could adjourn if they wanted to charge him for that too or charges cannot be brought post sentencing.

Thinking of you at this time. Prison visits are relatively straightforward to organise but can take some time to be approved. If you know his prison number you can set up email a prisoner if available where he is xxx

Oh EBP my heart goes out to you. How are you doing and how is your son? I can only imagine how hard this must be to go through for a second time. Sending you my thoughts and love.

The reason he was taken back to court was a 'breach' of SHPO.

They claimed he had not declared a Dropbox account on a newly purchased laptop. This is questionable either way as the police set up the laptop & have visited several times since he got it.
The historical offences are pre-sentencing,over two years ago,but more serious.

It was so horrible to see him brought up from the cells & then returned without any contact.
