Finally have disclosure, not big suprises but still hard to read when descriptions are including.
They've even included the full name of the other person in the chat who was charge separately for a lot worse.
My question is, if they mention a chat in disclosure would they not have to evidence the chat? They say see evidence 'number' but it's not included in any of the pages.

Sorry I do not know the answer for you. But hoping that someone else will and can also help me.
I have often wondered what it means full disclosure. I have seen the police report when my OH was interviewed and therefore what the police charged him with. But i dont know what evidence the police used. My OH has always down played the evidence and I am not sure to believe him. Would the police or solictors have the evidence of what they used to charge him. He was charged for photos on his phone, but my OH downplayed the ages. The police put huge age ranges in their report but nothing to say how they came to their conclusion? I am not minimising anything just trying, two years on, to make some sense of everything. He said that he did not realise their ages but the police put a huge age range, and age range that could not be mistaken. I guess i need to know if it was just an accident or deliberate.
Thanks

I would also like to know the same as I feel my partner downplayed ages, he said older teenagers but the reports say girls aged 10-14 as categorised by the police but he really disputes this. It's hard to feel like you are in the dark when there are big decisions to be made. X
Hi both.
This disclosure I got was from the solicitor as as far as I'm aware its all the evidence they took or at least were approved to charge with.
There are still bits that seem manipulated/ vague. A comment he made about a cousin with no age mentioned but it's written in a way to suggest a younger cousin for example.
My persons charge is distribution via a link shared and although he claims he didn't know or see the age ranges on there are young to late teen.
I don't know your stories but it could be that some of the evidence on your people are Similar in that they may not have seen those images but they were still 'downloaded' or appear on the page they viewed.
Felicity - if the police don't know an exact age they will always give a range, my person was shown a picture of someone who the solicitor said looked way over 18 that they were saying was 14/15..this is also something that isn't in evidence so not sure where or what happened to it.

Thank you EA, that does make sense

Hi, for the people asking how to get full disclosure. The CPS send their report with all the evidence written out, a breakdown of how many images, ages, descriptions in some areas, screenshots! of any chat, times and dates of viewing images ect to your persons solicitor and the judge. The solicitor needs it so they can build a case for your person and give advice. The solicitor will have sent it to your person. I asked and my person gave permission for his solicitor to send me the evidence. So I received the full report and read it all. If your people say they have told you everything then they have nothing to hide and when you tell them you'd like to see it all they should have no problem with this. They will probably put up a bit of a fight about it, say you said you trusted me ect but ultimately you want to know, just like they would, a swift reminded of it's the least they can do considering how much us loved ones do as a reault of this sbould put it into perspective. On the flip side it will probably be their worst nightmare as it's shameful and upsetting for them, they'll panic that this may be the straw that breaks the camels back. For me not knowing would have hung over us forever, this already will but at least I have less questions. xx
Thank you EA and sadandworried. My person was in a position of trust and as such we were sent the stuff the governing body used to make their decision to sack my oh. There was the police report and other reports that mentioned information not in the police report so i have suspected there is more information out there.
I will get my oh to go to the solictors i did ask at the very beginning but did not pursue it it as was not ready to read it.

Webb89 - id think really hard about if you wanna read it and when you do.
I went back over it last night and picked up on little things that have been massive and it's made me think about a lot and how I want to continue with it all :(

I have full disclosure with OH's solicitor (we're at the waiting on forensics stage) and my understanding is that I will see everything OH and the solicitor see. I also have a standing invitation to sit in on OH's meetings with the solicitor, who is a specialist and works with the families as well. I made sure I was CCed in on OH's request for full disclosure and the solicitor's response. It was all really quick. I was pretty clear in my own mind that it was full disclosure or divorce, as its clear reading back over posts here that a lot of them lie. To be fair OH agreed immediately. Likewise I've been clear with OH that things will be much worse for him if stuff comes up later he hasn't told me about. At the moment he's sticking to this story, so who knows. I just know I want to see absolutely everything to protect myself and our children going forward.
My person is in prison now. I know he downplayed a lot and unfortunately I wasn't there for the final hearing. Now he is in prison (and he consents) can I get full disclosure? My child is related to him and I want to be in possession of all the facts for when released.
I wasn't permitted disclosure so I doubt I know much except for categories and numbers of images.
I will never know the true picture as only tells his version of events.
No trust = no marriage in my eyes.

EA - to be honest I found reading the police report quite horrific but my OH denied a few things that the police said, hence why i want to see what other evidence the police have. I need to know, i need to know that if i stay it is not because i have not been told everything. But thank you for the warning, once known it can never be forgotten.
Chooks, your person will have been sent the CPS report before court. Likely via email. So it would be a case of asking them to send it to you or for them to give you the log in details to their email account. x
I will add, as other have said, it is a hard read and once you've seen it, it will stay with you but then it all stays with you anyway. I know it all and i choose to force some of it out of my head when all of a sudden things come into my head... Because they damage my well being. I choose to believe that my person did view those things, did write those things... that he isn't innocent but I choose to also remember who he was before this and who he still is now and his own life struggles that I can not relate too. I choose to remind myself that he is a bloody idiot and he made disgusting choices and that I'm within my right to always think these things of him.... I suppose what I'm saying is once you see it all, it is harder and to stay you need to make more hard choices and work harder. I find it easier to stay now I know it, even though knowing it is hard, the unknown was harder. xx
